The company that manufactures our web cam is Axis Communications.  You can download a  .zip version of the ActiveX control directly from the Axis web site here if it makes you feel more comfortable.
Browsers other than IE such as Mozilla, Opera, and Netscape do not require any additional software to view our camera.  Thanks for your understanding.
