Monday September 26th
5:00 pm – 9th Annual GABF Kickoff Tapping Party

The Falling Rock Kicks off the GABF Week with our annual Tapping Party. Special Kegs sent by various breweries. Ever since St. Patrick’s Day our GABF Tapping Party Countdown Clock has been doing it’s thing, at 5pm it’ll hit “0” and we’ll tap into 10-12 incredible kegs.


Wednesday September 28th
3:00pm – Stone Brewing

Stone is sending out casks of IPA (dry hopped with Crystals), and 9th Anniversary Ale as well as a keg of Russian Imperial Stout.

9:00pm – Manneken-Brussels Presents Urthel Hop It Double IPA World Premier

Come Meet the Brewer of Urthel, Hildegard as she introduces her newest creation, Hop It Double IPA. This 9.5% abv and 80 IBU beer was inspired by a trip to Alaska’s Barleywine festival in January. Also meet the artist for her unique labels, Bas. Many of Manneken-Brussels other products will be on hand like, Back vintages of Chimay Grand Reserve (Blue), Large format Bottles (3ltr, 6ltr, and monsterous 9 ltrs) of St. Feuillien Tripel , and Schneider Wiesen Edel Weiss.

10:00 pm Celebrator Beer News Presents “West of Chicago” and the “Rolling Boil Blues Band”

We’ll crank up the music with Falling Rock’s own Nikki Way singing with her band West of Chiago with special guest set by the incomparable Rolling Boil Blues Band .


Thursday September 29th
3:00 pm – Odells Brewing Company

Odells is bringing a keg of Nitro Double Hopped 5 Barrel Pale Ale as well as their latest batch of Curmudgeon’s Nip Barleywine. Meet Doug Odell and some of his brewers.

10:00 pm – Firestone Walker Brewing

Firestone Walker Brewing Brings us some kegs of their Double Barrel Ale and IPA Nectar. Meet the Brewers.


Friday September 30th
Noon - Sierra Nevada Harvest Al Premier

Come see how fast we can drain a keg of Sierra Nevada’s Harvest Ale. This “wet Hopped” ale is always one of the most popular beers here at the Falling Rock. We’ll tap into a fresh keg of this year’s batch and see just how little time it takes to kill it. The purchaser of the last glass wins a Sierra Nevada Bike Jersey. T-shirts and Glasses also available.

1:00 pm – Alpha King Challenge

Falling Rock Tap House plays Host to the Annual Alpha King Challenge, to find America’s Hoppiest yet balanced, heck this competition just ain’t Normal. (Downstairs)

10 pm – Me So Hoppy

See some of the nation’s top brewers duke it out in a live Lupulin Slam.


Saturday October 1st
5:00 pm – Meantime Ales

Come enjoy some English Microbrewed Ales from the Greenwich Brewery. We will have their Bottle conditioned London Porter and India Pale Ale.

10:00 pm New Belgium Brewing

New Belgium Brewing Company invites you to ‘Follow Your Folly” over to the Falling Rock after the festival and try some of their very special offerings. We will have Saison and La Folie on tap as well as a new, very rare adaptation, “Le Terroir” a single Barrel sour beer dry-hopped with Amarillo hops. Fat Tire, Sunshine Wheat and 1554 Black Ale will also be available for this always outrageous event.

In addition to all of these scheduled events, many special beers will be tapped throughout the week as tap space permits. Many of these kegs are small and won’t last long, sorry if you miss your favorite.
